Flu Vaccines

Are available from Wednesday 1st April 2026.

FREE for 65+, pregnant people & under 65 with specific conditions including mental health. Speak to a nurse to see if you are eligible.  There is a fee for those who are not eligible for a funded vaccine.

You can book through the portal, under 'Book with' choose 'Other' otherwise call reception on 03 3526152. 

 

FUNDED Meningococcal Vaccines Are now available for people aged 13 to 25 years who are entering, or in specified close-living situations now available. 

 

Manage My Health

As you may have heard, Manage My Health has reported a cyber security incident that occurred over the New Year period. Our patient portal is MyIndici 2.0 NOT Manage My Health 

Our patient portal is MyIndici 2.0 which is not connected with Manage My Health.

 It's a good idea to regularly review your online passwords and security settings.

  • Update any old or reused passwords

  • Use strong, unique passwords

  • Turn on two-factor authentication where possible

  • Be alert to suspicious emails or links.

 If you have any concerns regarding your MyIndici account please let us know.

Measles (MMR) Update

Those born between 1969-2004 please check if you are fully immunised. If you do not have proof, you can phone the Vaccination Helpline 0800 28 29 26 (please let us know your status)
Age group needs

  • Mid-50s and 60s: People aged in their mid-50s and in their 60s are very unlikely to need a vaccine, but it can be considered if necessary, e.g. travelling to high-risk countries

  • Childhood: Two scheduled MMR doses should be given at 12 months and 15 months of age. Children who have not received two documented doses can be offered catch-up doses, given at least 4 weeks apart.

SHINGRIX (Shingles) Vaccine

This is free for all 65 year olds. Book an appointment to see the nurse. If you’re 50 years or older, the risk of getting this painful, blistering rash is very real — no matter how healthy you may feel. Vaccination is the only way to help protect yourself from shingles.

Syphilis Awareness

Syphilis cases are increasing across Aotearoa New Zealand, and we are also seeing a rise in congenital syphilis, which is preventable through early detection and treatment. Ideally, syphilis should be detected and treated before pregnancy occurs. Around 50% of syphilis cases are asymptomatic in the early stages. When symptoms do occur, they can vary widely.
